Macarthur Macarthur is a vibrant and attractive small town, situated in the South West of Victoria between Port Fairy and Hamilton on the Port Fairy-Hamilton Road.   Apart from the many beautiful properties and the magnificent homesteads that abound our area, we are the gateway to the beautiful Mt Eccles National Park and the stunning Lake Surprise which plays host to tens of thousands of tourists a year.  On your next visit to our area, please stop and experience our town's hospitality and community spirit.

MADA was formed to promote and foster the economic, social and cultural development of Macarthur and district through advice and service to our citizens, businesses, community and social groups and their committees.

MADA actively supports the promotion of the cultural and historical heritage of Macarthur and District through the Historical Society and  other associated groups.

MADA also  co-ordinates and monitors nominated social, community service and other MADA endorsed activities within the district.
